Method for analysis of nickel chloride in pyrophosphate tin-nickel alloy plating bath
A new method for the determination of nickel chloride in pyrophosphate tin-nickel alloy plating bath was developed. Sn(II) ions were oxidized to Sn(IV) ions with hydrogen peroxide, and Sn(VI) ions were masked with sodium fluoride. Under the condition of p H = 10, nickel was titrated by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) volumetric method with ammonium porphyrate as indicator. The method is simple and accurate, the relative average deviation is 0.18%, and the recovery rate is 99.18-99.98%, which solves the interference problem of Sn(II) ion and potassium pyrophosphate in the determination of nickel chloride in the traditional method.

Effect of Nickel Chloride on Thickness and Structure of Zinc Coating without Ammonium Flux
The morphology and thickness of the coating intermetallic compound layer were analyzed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope on the coating obtained from the angle steel in the non-ammonium plating agent with different nickel chloride content. The results show that in a certain range, with the increase of nickel chloride content, the thickness of the obtained coating decreases continuously, when the nickel chloride content increases to 6g/L, the thickness of the coating is no longer reduced with the increase of nickel chloride content, when the nickel chloride content increases to 6~8g/L, the coating is the thinnest, and the nickel chloride content is 4~8g/L, when the thickness of the coating is moderate, as the content of the nickel chloride increases, the grain size decreases as the ζ intermetallic compound layer in the intermetallic compound layer is thinned. The Γ and δ intermetallic compounds do not change significantly.
