Research on Development Trend and Countermeasures of Nickel Sulfate Industry in China

As a vital part of the nickel industry chain, nickel sulfate is the core raw material to support the development of my country's new energy vehicle power batteries, electroplating and other fields. Its raw material production, smelting processing, recycling and other technological development directions and industry development trends have attracted much attention. This paper reviews the development trend of nickel sulfate industry in China, summarizes the development status of nickel sulfate production and technology in China, analyzes the main problems and development trend of nickel sulfate industry in China, and thinks that the problems facing the development of nickel sulfate in China mainly come from the shortage of raw material supply, high carbon emission intensity and imperfect recovery system. On this basis, the development ideas and development goals for 2035 are put forward, from focusing on the establishment of the supply system, promoting diversified raw material supply; promoting technological innovation, reducing production costs and reducing supply pressure; accelerating the development of the recycled nickel industry and increasing the amount of recycled nickel; accelerating the internationalization of Chinese enterprises, industrial integration process, and enhancing core competitiveness. It is expected to promote the sustainable and healthy development of China's nickel sulfate industry through the improvement of nickel sulfate production technology, raw material supply, recycling and other systems.
